Your name goes on everything you record, so the day’s log says who did what. The code comes from the organiser and decides what you can do — it is not a password, it is shared with everyone at your desk, and it is fine to read it out. If you were given a code for a particular shiaijo, use that one; it tells the system where you are and does not stop you helping elsewhere.
