The shitei waza this event announces. The ruleset profile supplies a default set for every category; anything typed here is the event’s own record and wins over it (§5.3.3). Panel assignment and rotation come later — this screen is the waza for now.
A pool set is three kata and a knockout set five (D-26), and every knockout round uses the knockout set — quarter-final, semi-final and final alike. Kis a slot rather than a kata: which koryu is performed is the competitor’s own choice, made per side at the match (D-31), so K, K means two different koryu and stays unresolved until then. Every kata in a set must differ from every other (D-32).
A judges’ award, agreed among yourselves and typed in afterwards — there is no court-side step. It is emphatically not a fourth medal: every entrant is a candidate whatever their result, and in 2025 it went to competitors finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last. One per championship, and leaving one blank is a legitimate final state rather than a missing figure.
Recorded against the shinpancho. §8.1.3 attributes it to the most senior judge present, by name and grade, from the panel assignment — which is PR 6, so the role stands in until there is a panel to read a name from. Selecting No award withdraws one already given; nothing is erased, since the withdrawal is its own line on the ledger.
